GREEN MOUNTAIN PRINCESS

COLLABORATORS: BARIO NEAL

When approaching my wife’s ring, I really wanted to have a classic look, yet more contemporary and organic to make something unique to her. With that premise in mind, I went to Bario Neal due to the fact that I loved their aesthetic, and began to work with them to develop the design. After many of my own iterations of photoshopped mash-ups of the available stones I liked from their collection, I was able to come to this design.

Inspired by her love of the halo ring, I sculpted a more asymmetrical version of that concept, utilizing colorful sapphires and diamonds of different shapes and sizes to create movement across the piece, as well as more life into the object. Anchored by the gold bar, the circulating stones encompass the main diamond, which is crowned at the top. The aim of the overall aesthetic was to create something whimsical, royal and natural.
